Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before you get in touch.

The questions we're asked most often about our services, how we price and contract, how we protect your data, and what happens after go-live. Service-specific questions are answered on each service page too.

About Orgits

[1]What makes Orgits different from other consultancies?

We combine full-stack development with business-process and compliance knowledge. Most agencies do one of software, CRM, marketing or audit; we do all four, so the systems we build connect to each other and are designed to stand up to an audit.

[2]Do you work with startups or only established companies?

Both. Our clients range from founders building a first product to established businesses and regulated NBFCs.

[3]What industries do you specialise in?

Financial services and NBFCs, healthcare, real estate, e-commerce and retail, professional services, education, SaaS, hospitality, travel, startups and non-profits. See industries.

[4]Where are you based, and do you work with clients outside India?

We're based in India and work with clients across India and abroad, including in the United States.

Services and Zoho

[1]Are you an authorised Zoho partner?

Yes. We implement Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Creator and other Zoho apps, and can work with a subscription you already own.

[2]Can you work with our existing systems and tools?

Yes. Integration is a core part of our work: payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, accounting software, WhatsApp and custom systems. See system integration.

[3]Can you help us migrate from our current CRM to Zoho?

Yes. We migrate accounts, contacts, deals, activities and history from Salesforce, HubSpot, spreadsheets or legacy systems, and reconcile record counts with you before switching over. See CRM migration.

[4]Can you move our accounts from Tally to Zoho Books?

Yes. Masters, opening balances and open transactions are reconciled to your last trial balance before you go live. See Tally migration.

[5]How long does a typical CRM implementation take?

It depends on the number of teams, modules and integrations. After a short discovery we give you a written plan with milestones.

IS audits

[1]Do you conduct IS audits for NBFCs?

Yes. We review IT governance, access, security, business continuity and vendor risk against the RBI Master Direction on IT governance, and deliver a rated findings register. See IS audit.

[2]Does an IS audit guarantee compliance?

No audit can. It gives an independent view of your controls and a plan to improve them. Regulatory interpretation should be confirmed with your compliance and legal advisers.

Pricing and contracts

[1]What is your pricing model?

Fixed scope billed by milestone, time and material invoiced monthly, or staff augmentation invoiced at the start of each month. How we scope and bill.

[2]What's the minimum contract for staff augmentation?

Six months. Fixed-scope projects run for as long as the agreed scope takes.

[3]What if a developer leaves mid-project?

Our leadership includes specialists who can step in, and our wider network is a call away. We find a suitable replacement promptly, backed by a 20-day notice period, so the handover happens before anyone leaves.

[4]What if the developer gets stuck on a problem?

They escalate to our leadership team, who have hands-on experience across development, cloud, automation and compliance.

Security and data

[1]How do you keep our data secure?

We apply the same discipline we test for in IS audits: least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication for administrators, audit trails, encrypted storage, and documented handovers. Code, data and accounts belong to you.

[2]Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, before you share details.

[3]Who owns the code and data?

You do. Source code, documentation, cloud accounts and data are handed over in your name.

Support

[1]Do you provide ongoing support after implementation?

Yes. We offer support and optimisation scoped to your needs: admin help, fixes, monitoring and new features.

[2]What happens if we need changes after the project is complete?

Small fixes are covered during the agreed support period. New features are quoted as a change request or handled under a time-and-material arrangement.
